My love and passion for theater started at the age of eight when I did my first show, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer playing the role of Becky Thatcher, Tom’s girlfriend. You can imagine how a little eight-year-old girl felt about having to play a role that had a love interest… I was disgusted! After this experience, I quickly fell in love with the bright, warm lights hitting your skin and the thrill you get before you get to say your character’s first line to an audience.
